Genie Zoom Boom Ontario

Genie Zoom Boom Ontario

During the year 1966, Bud Bushnell established Genie Industries. During that time, he bought the manufacturing rights to a material lift that functioned on compressed air. The name Genie originated from the "magic in the bottle" which was utilized to raise and lower the hoist. This mechanism really impressed lots of clients and hence, the name was born.

Genie expanded operations and established itself into different new markets, as the demand for platforms and work lifts grew. Over time, when the requirements for new equipment to meet many applications grew, the company made itself recognized in many new markets. For example, Genie went into making articulated booms, light towers, man-lifts, stick booms and telehandlers.

Genie decided to acquire a partner who held the same values because of the economic slump in the beginning of the 2000s, when they partnered with Terex. This company has a history obtaining machine manufacturers across the globe who proved to be a good business match. Genie Industries was sold in 2002 and became a part of Terex Corporation.

During the early years after the sale, it was decided to maintain the Genie brand within the Terex Aerial Work Platforms or AWP segment of Terex, because of the name's solid reputation within the marketplace. Hence, all Genie machinery continue to be marketed under the Genie brand.

Genie takes pride in listening to their clients. The company is dedicated to continually improving efficiency and quality and is also committed to lessening waste. Even long after the sale has been closed, the company concentrates on providing outstanding support. These are the very work disciplines that have made Genie a trusted brand name over the past decades and continue to keep their reputation for quality and top-of-the-line machinery.

The Bi-Energy and DC machines offered by Genie offers quiet operation, emission-free even in the most delicate work settings. Where the equipment has to be driven significant distances, such as within industrial situations, the Genie bi-energy system combines the power of a diesel-powered generator with the benefits of a 48V DC equipment.

As opposed to any of the various types of aerial platforms, telescopic booms provide more horizontal reach overall. These equipment are ideal for limited access areas in construction and other industrial settings. The Genie Telescopic S booms have been engineered to offer utmost productivity. These machines deliver supreme traction and the drive speed you need in order to travel around the work site and job area.
