Telescopic lift trucks
Telescopic lift trucks provide height and versatility. These models are equipped with a pronged lift on an arm which extends over the top of the truck. The arm, or crane, is called a telescopic boom. The boom allows the operator to maintain a high degree of control while raising the load to great heights. Regular lift trucks could not move the load towards and away from the cab of the forklift, while a telescopic forklift can allow that movement. The telescopic forklift is commonly utilized in construction and agriculture. It is better for applications where greater control and lift is needed.
A lift truck carton clamp attachments are recommended in situations needing high volume carton handling. The attachment has arm pads with four way reversible rubber linings which allow the operator to utilize uniform clamping force when lifting a cargo. It is available with a backrest which protects the cargo from damage.
A sleep sheet lift truck will often utilize a slip sheet attachment for storing systems that don't use pallets. The attachment clamps onto the slip sheet and pulls it onto the forks on the forklift. This type of system is useful for overseas shipments and intra-corporate deliveries.
A man basket is a lift platform designed particularly to raise workers. The basket attaches to the forklift forks, held in with a chain or strap which is to be directly secured to the forklift carriage. The platform has railings to protect the staff from falling to the ground. Brackets on the platform are utilized for fastening the safety harness of the worker.
