Narrow Aisle Forklift
Utilized to both lift and lower loaded pallets from storage spaces that are high is a narrow aisle forklift. This kind is recommended for work places with narrow spaces between aisles, like for example warehouses or retail environments. The forklift has small, solid rubber tires that make maneuvering easy.
Usually, the operator of this particular kind of forklift stands up within a small cockpit. The stand-up design allows the narrow aisle forklift to be as short and narrow as possible. A stand-up cockpit forklift normally has three tires: two in the front, and one in the back. This design allows for easy and fast maneuvering. There are several models of these forklifts which come with a sit-down cockpit. The lift attachment is capable of pivoting to the sides, permitting the lift to be operated without the operator having to move the entire machine. The sit-down version generally has four wheels.
An electric engine is utilized to power numerous narrow aisle forklifts. Electric-powered machinery are quiet and do not produce exhaust fumes, making them the suitable alternative for closed areas like retail spaces. Some lifts come with a diesel engine or a gas engine. However, the diesel model is not suggested to be utilized indoors as it could produce exhaust and be noisy.
