Ever since 1976, Taylor Machine Works has built, designed and marketed empty container handlers. The "Big Red" line of empty handlers reflects the experience and knowledge gained in those years. The Taylor empty handlers are called the "All American" units because they are built and engineered within the USA. Taylor is always on the cutting edge of industrial technology. The company strives to maintain their devotion of engineering and building the most productive and best, most reliable container handling machinery around, anywhere in the world.
So as to better suit your specific requirements, the companies empty container handlers are outfitted with a huge array of attachments. The following is a list of units with their basic mast and attachment.
To be able to pick 20 feet throughout 53 feet empty reefer containers and empty ISO standard containers, the TECDS-150H Attachment is able to expand. Any containers measuring over 40 feet should have standard 40 feet ISO pickup points. The attachment has 4 corner twist-locks as well, electrical signal lights in the cab, 2 work lights and hydraulic slewing.
The ELME attachment is designed to handle 2 20 foot or 40 foot empty ISO standard containers at the same time. This simultaneous ability can be carried out with the containers stacked on top of each other. Moreover, this type of attachment is offered with 4 horizontal twist-locks that insert into the side apertures of the lower container's top corner castings and the upper containers bottom corner castings. The extremely specialized design of the twist-locks allows block stacking to be accomplished.
